Amann Group: New twisting plant in China

In March 2010, the new twisting plant of Amann Twisting (Yancheng) of the leading German sewing yarn producer Amann & Soehne GmbH, Boennigheim, went on stream with a capacity of 3,000 tons/year and 350 employees. Started in 2005 as a market study, the idea became a project very soon in 2006. With the signing of the contract, the first milestone was realized in 2008. Almost exactly one year after that, Amann Twisting (Yancheng) could initiate the first pre-winders on October 6, 2009.
