Top 10 nonwovens producers represent half of global sales

Sales generated by the global nonwovens industry were worth US$ 21 billion in 2010. Of this figure sales by the leading 40 producers were valued at $ 14.3 billion, representing about two-thirds of the total. Among the top 10 producers, sales ranged individually from $ 228 million to $ 1.5 billion, and total sales added to just over $ 9 billion.
