Meta-aramid fiber for protective-clothing solutions

The producer of advanced fibers and composites Teijin Ltd., Tokyo/Japan, launched Teijinconex neo, a new type of meta-aramid fiber offering unsurpassed heat-resistance, as well as excellent dyeability during Intersec held in Dubai/UAE from January 18-20, 2015. Production at a new Teijin facility in Ayut-thaya/Thailand, which will nearly double the annual capacity of Teijin's global meta-aramid fiber production, is scheduled to start in mid-2015.
