Review on acoustic properties of textiles

摘要

With the continuing development of new technologies, particularly the trend towards faster, more powerful machinery, the environmental impact of noise is a matter of increasing concern, and considerable efforts are being made to find effective means of noise abatement. This paper looks at the effect of fabric structure and finishing treatments applied on fabric on acoustic properties.
