The goals to arrive at a circular textile economy are component purity, low forces in the fiber reclaiming process, the use of natural fiber to be CO_2-neutral and the recycling of production waste. For decades, staple fiber web-forming and needling has been a proven industrial process to run reclaimed fiber material efficiently. State-of-the-art features to improve this efficiency considerably are suction and de-dusting nozzles, filter stations and separators in a modern engineered air system for fiber and dust transport and separation. This whole mechanical process is well prepared to set the pace for an industrial production of textiles from reclaimed fiber which is an improvement on the route to sustainability and a circular economy.
