摘要

A current project deals with the planting of various warp-knitted spacer fabrics and other textiles with grasses, mosses, flowering plants, salads and other plants. In this context, the warp-knitted spacer fabrics have proven to be well suited growth carriers for plants, like shade grass (lawn), cress and white clover. The use of natural fibers, such as jute and coconut mats, also led to good results. This is the reason why during the next step it might come to the testing of a combination of the 2 approaches, namely warp-knitted spacer fabrics and natural fibers.
