The German circular knitting machine builder Terrot GmbH, Chemnitz, has a wide ranging and modern portfolio. In addition, the company launched a Chinese brand last year-Sino by Terrot - in order to serve the specific market demands of the Chinese textile industry. The company will exhibit the well-known 13P 154 machine model. This machine is the mother of all Terrot 8-lock and BP machines. Models from this range produce fine rib and interlock fabrics for modern outerwear fabrics and technical textiles. The great versatility and wide spectrum of different applications through various available cam parts are only 2 of the main advantages. The BP 154 has 1.8 feeds/inch and can produce fabrics up to E42. Additionally, the special needle geom-etry allows the production of very fine structured fabrics. During the ShanghaiTex in 2017 Sino by Terrot launched its own new knitting machine specifically for the Chinese market. The SL-4 TC is a highly productive single jersey knitting machine that offers the high quality by Terrot and is made for the production of knitted fabrics in the outerwear segment. Due to its sinkerless technology, the SL-4 TC offers several advantages: implementation of higher machine speeds with significantly reduced downtimes and maintenance operation on the knitting head as well as improved knitting qualities.
