Library of Congress Update Janis Young, Senior Cataloging Policy Specialist, Policy and Standards Division (PSD), and Form/Genre Projects Coordinator began her update on the genre/forms projects currently taking place at the Library of Congress with significant staffing changes at the Library of Congress. Assistant Division Chief Tom Yee was appointed Acting Chief of the Asia and Middle East Division (ASME) as of January 1, 2012. Senior Cataloging Policy Specialist Judy Kuhagen retired on December 31, 2011 after 39 years of service. Kate James, a senior cataloger, transferred to PSD as a cooperative cataloging program specialist. She will also continue to work one day a week as a cataloger in the Rare Materials Section.
