The quality guidelines and the Associated analytical procedures were developed by an industry com- Mitte composed of representatives from both the carbonated beverage And carbon dioxide industry. These guidelines were prepared to pro- Vide guidance on the key characteristics for the quality and purity of Carbon dioxide used as a direct food additive in beverages.
