As every technical communicator knows, a book is written with a specific audience in mind, and the title should reflect that choice. Expecting to review a basic book, then, I instead found myself enthralled by this third edition that should be re-titled Building a 2.0 Web site. If you want to learn how to use HTML, frames, links, and tables to construct a Web site from scratch, you can cruise through Chapters 1 through 4 and then hunt down a basic book. However, if you want to turn an existing, humdrum Web site into one optimized for social media, without needing a software engineering degree, this book is for you (and me).
