Educational Technology: A Definition with Commentary

It might seem an extraneous exercise to write an entire book about a definition of a term, but when you consider the multiple interpretations of educational technology in just its modern use, it becomes quite clear why this actually might be beneficial. Educational technology: A definition with commentary not only tackles the modern connotations and interpretations of the term, but also provides a rich historical background of the field itself. We might consider much of the book to be a good example of bridging academics/theory and practice, although at times this thorough exploration becomes redundant.
