Hopwells selects RVL for another 26T box body

Specialist frozen food distributor, Hopwells Ltd., has recently expanded its fleet with the addition of a new 26T refrigerated vehicle. The new BMC chassis cab has been mounted with a single compartment, insulated box body supplied by Refrigerated Vehicles (UK) Ltd. Hopwells was founded in 1978 by the late Tim Hopwell. The company's early business activities focused on the supply of fresh fruit and vegetables along with a limited line of frozen food products to the catering trade. During its first few years of trading, Hopwells began to notice a distinct change in buying patterns within the catering industry, with greater emphasis being placed on frozen foods. The dramatic growth in this market sector and the subsequent increase in demand for these goods led the company to review and adjust its own business practices and by 1986 Hopwells was firmly estab- lished as a specialist distributor of frozen foods.
