FSDF Chief Executive John Hutchings retires

John Hutchings, Chief Executive of the Food Storage and Distribution Federation retired at the end of April 2009.rnTo mark the occasion, FSDF Board and staff members held a lunch in John's honour at the Mill House Hotel, near Reading, at which he was presented with a Bose music system. He in turn presented gifts to the staff members who had supported him and thanked both them and Board members for their support over the years.rnHis period of office has delivered a strong Federation, in excellent financial condition which has grown in membership and influence. With the establishment of the Climate Change Agreement three years ago, industry coverage has broadened to cover the whole food supply chain from frozen to ambient. FSDF has also acquired it's own office premises.
