EDITORIAL

摘要

This Special Issue of Systems Science devoted to Supply Networks is a part of dissemination activities performed in the framework of European Union Project CO-DESNET (Collaborative DEmand and Supply NET work). Methodological and practical problems of supply networks (supply chains) witnessed unprecedented developments in recent years. This is caused both by globalization processes observed in worldwide industry and by the remarkable progress in computer science which allows us to solve more complex analysis and decision-making problems that are typical of supply networks.
