Net Mgmt Solutions Provider Upgrades Net Access Control Architecture

Seattle, Wash.-based MetaInfo, a provider of net-work infrastructure management solutions, on May 2 announced SAFE DHCP Quarantine Framework, the latest version of its architecture for network access control. Formerly known as SAFE Registration Framework, SAFE DHCP Quarantine Framework is an alternative to IEEE 802.1x and other proposed standards for network access control and protection and is an extension to MetaInfo's standards-based infrastructure services that allows companies to monitor and control network access according to their unique policies.
