ATMIQ: Active Thbes on Multiscale Image Queue

Proposed in this paper is a new contour tracking model based on the active contour model. A new image space that is a combination of multiscale image (pyramid image) and spatiotemporal image is introduced. Contour tracking is implemented by applying tubular active con- tours to this combined space. The proposed model supports consecutive processing of image series, simultaneous ac- quisition and processing of images, considerable allowance for frame-to-frame shift of target objects, and stable contour tracking by means of continuity constraints imposed on Position and speed of edge points.
