Hungary is only slowly emerging from the shadow of the firiarkial crlsis. The renewable energy sector is still fefeling the repercussions. In the run-up of the country's largest renewable energy trade fair, however, the domestic industry keeps its head up - and is now waiting for fresh impulses from the newly elected government.rnThe growth that was hoped for has not come. "We expect that with 4,000 visitors and about 100 exhibitors, the trade show will live up to the success of the previous year", says Gabriella Zsoter of Reeco, the organizer of Renexpo. At the end of May (after publication of this issue), the country's largest trade show for renewable energy will open its gates in Budapest. During the crisis year 2009, renewable energies did not really gain momentum in Hungary. "The market situation continues to be difficult and the repercussions of the financial crisis are still felt", says Zsoter.
