Second generation computer program of sugar house simulation developed int the Research Institute of the Hungarian Sugar Industry is presented. Knowledge on degree of freedom of the sugar house is briefly summarized and way of determination of the two- and multidimension operational area is introduced. Examples are shown to demonstrate the way of determination of operational area in case of different (affiliation, magma) schemes, different quality of thick juice and different technical expectations. Analyzing the created operational areas an example of a method is shown by means of it the misoperation of an existing system can be recognized and determined and/or the target value of the main operational parameters can be determined according to the equipment, the quality of the thick juice and the technical expectations.
