It is a great pleasure for me to write this letter of congratulation to The Society of Packaging Science and Technology, Japan on the occasion of your 30th anniversary. Your Society has distinguished itself as a leader in the packaging world and has significantly contributed to the development of various fields of packaging science and technology in Japan and other countries.As well as publishing the highly regarded Journal of Packaging Science & Technology, Japan, the Society also organizes annual meetings and international packaging seminars. I was privileged to be invited to speak at two of your seminars which I found technically of a very high standard and extremely well organized.
