摘要

The present paper is an extract from a CFD-based study on the influence of ventilation installations on smoke spreading in an energy-efficient building. For the numerical investigation a fire in a utility room in an one-family house was selected. To model the fire the CFX code Ansys CFX 14.5 was used. The software had to be modified for the application by implementing the FED model for assessing personal safety and by implementing a fire spread model. The air supply is ensured with a combined exhaust and supply ventilation system. Results for pressure gradients between the room of fire origin and the adjacent corridor are presented. With the FED model, conclusions are drawn about personal security and the ability to escape. In addition the smoke distribution is shown.
