In 2001, when the Yongjong and Seohae Grand cable-stayed bridges had been completed, our Korean colleagues hosted their first IABSE Conference "Cable-Supported Bridges-Challenging Technical Limits." Now we are delighted to be invited by the Korean Group of IABSE and Seoul National University, to the 18th IABSE Congress "Innovative Infrastructures-Towards Human Urbanism." The international Scientific Committee is chaired by Hyun-Moo Koh (Chair of the Korean Group) and the Organising Committee by Sung-Pil Chang (Vice-President of IABSE).
