Predrag Popovic on Official Visit to China

At the end of November, Predrag Popovic, President of IABSE, travelled on his first official mission to China. On November 29, 2010, he gave an invited keynote lecture on "Preventing Structural Failures in Bridge Construction" at the "Bridge Tech Summit 2010" in Shanghai. The Summit was co-organised by the Jiangsu Transportation Research Institute, the PRC Ministry of Communications and Global Leaders and was officially supported by IABSE and several leading engineering organisations. The event attracted many leading bridge professionals from around the world.
