Anton Tedesko Medal

摘要

SN. Professor Emeritus Paul Grundy, Australia, is awarded with the Anton Tedesko Medal 2012 by the IABSE Foundation for the Advancement of Structural Engineering. The Award consists of a medal for the Laureate in recognition of his contribution to the advancement of structural engineering. He also receives a sum of CHF 25'000 to be used to organise and finance a study leave abroad for a young engineer (Fellow) with prestigious engineering firms. Tobia Zordan, Chair of the IABSE Foundation Council conferred the Anton Tedesko Medal to Professor Grundy at the Opening Ceremony of the 18th IABSE Congress in Seoul on September 19, 2012, "in recognition of his dedication to excellence in structural engineering and his role as mentor for young engineers".
