Congratulations to Peter Schiessl, who celebrated his 70th birthday earlier this year. For over a decade Peter Schiessl was chair for Building Materials Testing and Director of the Institute of Building Materials at the Technical University of Munich; prior to that he was chair for Building Materials and Director of the Institute for Building Materials at the Technical University of Aachen. He also established a consulting office, Ingenieurbuero Schiessl, Gehlen, Sodeikat.
