Asymptotic properties of the estimator of cumulative residual entropy

Cumulative residual entropy is a measure of uncertainty that has a central role in reliability and survival studies. In this paper, a modified estimator of the cumulative residual entropy is proposed, and some of its asymptotic properties, including the strong consistency with rate and asymptotic normality, are investigated.
