With gratitude

After nearly five years Kelvin Long is standing down as the Editor of the Journal of the British Interplanetary Society (JBIS). He had been Deputy Editor for two years before that. Kelvin was the seventh Editor of the Journal since it was founded in 1934, now the longest running astronautical journal. BIS President Mark Hempsell told Spaceflight that "Having been an editor of JBIS myself, and knowing from personal experience what a difficult job it can be, on behalf of the Council and the Society I would like to thank Kelvin for the considerable efforts he has made to support JBIS."
