A British Interplanetary Society (BIS) meeting has recommended the UK reverse its policy of non-involvement in human space flight activities so that the country can fully benefit from the opportunities space flight offers. The meeting, held at the BIS London headquarters on 27 May to discuss UK policy on participation in manned space flight programmes, also called for such opportunities to be managed by an appropriate national body.
