UK's spacecraft viewing treats

Sir, For over three decades the approximately 51 degree orbital inclinations of the major space stations have made it possible for satellite observers located in the southern UK to be rewarded with some wonderful visual spacecraft viewing treats. Apart from the space stations themselves it has also been possible on occasion, to view manned spacecraft as they neared Skylab, the Russian Salyut and Mir space stations, and currently the International Space Station (ISS).
