Shuttle Facility gets CST-100

Boeing is swiftly forging ahead with plans to develop the CST-100, aimed at launching hiunan crews to the International Space Station (ISS), by signing an agreement with NASA to lease facilities at the Kennedy Space Center that have become available for new projects since the retirement of NASA's Space Shuttle. Under an innovative agreement, Boeing has a 15 year lease with NASA and Space Florida to begin using Orbiter Processing Facility-3 (OPF-3), previously used to process and prepare Shuttle Orbiters. Space Florida is an economic development agency funded by the state of Florida.
