Dr Martin Unwin from SSTL got to carry off the Tycho Brahe prize for his contributions to space navigation, guidance and control earlier this year. Awarded at the International Technical meeting of the Institute of Navigation, Newport Beach, Calif, the prize recognized his work in the development of low-cost GNSS receiver technology for spaceborne navigation and remote sensing.
