West Midlands Space Day 2019

AS PART OFTHE United Nations International Space Week the BIS West Midlands Branch along with the Hive library at Worcester organized another successful Space Day on Saturday 5 October. This is the largest free space event in the UK.A wide variety of events and exhibits included planetarium shows, talks, films, static rocket motor firings, competitions, and for the second year running careers tours were available and supported by STEM Ambassadors. Liz Perman eloquently announced these on a PA system next to the Society's stand adding to the atmosphere.
