1. The U.K. Ministry of Defence ordered Skynet 5D in March 2010; the satellite will be launched in 2013rn2. Three Skynet 5 spacecraft are in orbit and ready to provide milsatcom services to the U.K. MoD, along with its alliesrn3. Skynet 5 spacecraft will not be insured.
