Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO)

摘要

First phase in Robotic Lunar Exploration Program (RLEP), which is an unmanned exploration program of the moon to lead the way for manned exploration. Studying effects of space radiation on humans as well as studying topography of moon and looking for resources on lunar surface that will be useful for future manned missions. Rest of RLEP could depend on success of LRO because of budget issues.
