1. CZ-3 benefitting from an ambitious Chinese space program that is creating opportunities to carry Chinese government payloads such as Beidou navigation satellites and Fengyun weather satellites 2. China will eventually replace the CZ-3 with new launch vehicles, especially the CZ-5 and CZ-7 3. Following two years of low launch levels, CZ-3 production picked up to nine units in 2015, seven in 2016, and five in 2017.
