Com Dev Europe Gets OK on Satellite Component Contract

Com Dev Europe, a subsidiary of Canadian satellite component provider Com Dev, said it has received authorization to proceed on what it characterized as sophisticated radiofrequency equipment for a major international satellite manufacturer. The authorization allows the company to begin executing on a contract that Com Dev Europe said is worth over 12 million euros ($15.7 million), the company said in a May 1 press release. The work will take place at Com Dev's Aylesbury, United Kingdom, facility and is expected to be completed in about 30 months.
