Field emission properties of different forms of carbon

摘要

The results of field emission (FE) studies are reported for three different forms of carbon: smooth amorphous carbon (a-C) films with both low and high sp~3 content prepared by pulsed-laser deposition (PLD), nanostructured carbon prepared by hot-filament chemical-vapor deposition (HFCVD), and vertically aligned carbon nanofibers (VACNFs).
