The relaxer behaviour of the (Pb0.8Ba0.2)[(Zn1/3Nb2/3)(0.7)Ti-0.3]O-3 ferroclectric ceramic is presented. A strong dispersion of the maximum of the dielectric permittivity (epsilon') below the transition temperature (T-m) is observed, which shift towards higher temperatures with increasing frequency. There is a strong deviation from the Curie-Weiss law. The results are fitted by using the Voluer-Fulcher relationship, showing typical behaviour of a spin glass system. The hysteresis loops suggest relaxor behaviour. (c) 2005 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
