In a recent paper, Battabyal and Dey reported on structure, magnetic and transport (resistivity, ρ and magne-toresistance, MR) properties of Ag-doped LaMnO_3 (LAMO) polycrystalline samples. Using numerical fittings of ρ vs. temperature (T) dependences in the interval 10-80 K and under external magnetic field (H) up to 0.8 T, authors claim that the shallow minimum of ρ at T ~ 30 K and its slight upturn at lowest T may be accounted for by three-dimensional electron-electron interaction enhanced by disorder, as proposed previously for polycrystalline manganites. Let us note that applicability of the theory was checked for polycrystals and single crystals of different doped manganites in [7,8]; the structure, magnetism and conductivity in LAMO were also discussed in detail. Thus, it is reasonably to comment some general points of Ref. using data.
