摘要

We have recently become aware of a serious problem with the parabolic approximation used in the above mentioned article to calculate the polariton scattering amplitude. In particular, the numerical calculation shown in Figure 2 is wrong because of an inconsistent treatment of an integration cut-off. As a matter of fact, the parabolic approximation is NOT correct and, unless a very light exciton mass is considered, the polariton kinematic interaction, though tunable with detuning, cannot become attractive.
