摘要

The method of EPR spectroscopy was used to study the effect of halogenation on the properties of asphaltenes of gasoline-pyrolysis tar. The following basic EPR signal characteristics were measured: the g-factor, the concentration of unpaired electrons and the relaxation times. It is shown that the increase of spin susceptibility upon halogenation is caused by the formation of π-electron radicals delocalized over aromatic fragments of asphaltenes isolated from gasoline-pyrolysis tar.
