CONVERSIONS OF CHLOROPHYLL IN PEAT-FORMING PLANTS AND PEATS

摘要

The authors consider the distribution of tetrapyrrole pigments in peat-forming plants and peats in three swamps of the Tomsk region: Chaginsk, Bakcharsk and Iksinsk swamps. It is shown that the illumination of the territory and the level of swamp water exert an influence on the transformation of chlorophyll in plants. The ratio of chlorophyll varieties varies with increasing depth of occurrence of peats.
