MODIFICATION OF COALS BY TREATMENT WITH HYDROGEN UNDER MILD CONDITIONS

摘要

The treatment of hard coals of low-value grades (to be used for coking) in the presence of H_2 at 250-380℃ and a pressure of 6-8 MPa increases their caking power due to the hydrogenation of the oxygen-containing structures of coal organic matter and the formation of alkyl and hydroaromatic groups, which makes it possible to produce modified coals of coking grade and increased technological value.
