Geoecology of Benzo[a]pyrene as a Coal Pyrolysis Product

The accumulation of benzo[α]pyrene as a coal pyrolysis product in the soil cover of Chelyabinsk and its surroundings, which are characterized by a high concentration of industrial enterprises and power plants within the confines of the city, was evaluated. The concentrations of this carcinogenic substance in various soils were found higher than the maximum permissible concentration (20 μg/kg).
