摘要

An Information and Communication Technology has become popular around the world and this is often called ICT technology. There are a wide range of application fields for this technology such as medical treatment, traceability of food productions and transportation system. This review paper describes the application of ICT technology in geotechnical engineering and the role of Japan Geo-technical Society on this topic.rnIn resent years, a new construction management system using ICT (Information and communication technology) has been used at construction sites in addition to observational procedure which is conducted as a tool of reliable design in Japan.
