摘要

In the special issue of Journal of Systems and Software (Vol. 59(3)) for ProSim 2000, the editors noted that 'The software industry has been assailed by numerous accounts of schedule and cost overruns, and of poor product quality delivered by software development organizations in the commercial and government sectors. At the same time, the increasing complexity of software systems and heightened customer demands for "better, faster, cheaper" have significantly "raised the bar" for software developers to improve performance'. They also referred to the failure of purely technical approaches to the solution of these problems.
