Letter from the Interim Editor Mamas, Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to Write Software~1

It seems that I wear many hats these days. If you were at ICSE 2015, you would have seen me sing this song while wearing a cowboy hat (www.http://2015.icseconferences.org/event-media/conference-videos - starting at 1.00.15). Since then I have been the finance chair for ESEC/FSE 2018, And surprise -I am now I am coming out or "retirement" to serve as interim Editor of SEN. As such, I thought I would offer up some tongue-in-cheek humor as part of my "swan song" (at least I hope this will be my last Letter from the Editor for a while ;-). Being editor of SEN is not easy, but I am confident that Dietmar Pfahl, the incoming editor, is up to the task - now that he has finished being the immensely time-consuming program chair for the truly outstanding ESEC/FSE 2019. Welcome Dietmar! -and John -I still owe you a beer for taking over as Editor of SEN.
