ICSE 2015 SIGSOFT CAPS Report

I am glad that I could attend ICSE 2015, a premiere software engineering conference. The elaborate program including a good combination of co-located conferences, workshops, poster sessions, tool demonstrations, technical sessions, software engineering in education and practice track provided a good exposure to recent trends, innovations and challenges in field of software engineering. Being a student volunteer gave me the additional benefit of networking with participants and discuss my work. I attended following events: 1. MSR (co-located conference): It was very useful given my research area is Mining Software Repositories. Also I presented my paper titled "Identifying Software Process Management Challenges: Survey of Practitioners in a Large Global IT Company". Follow up QnA for every session was a great idea and thought provoking.
