ICSE 2015 SIGSOFT CAPS Report

摘要

A mentor once told me that undergraduates explore the breadth of our field; while, in graduate school, we explore the depth of a particular topic. However, focusing on depth carries with it the risk of missing related advances. We adjust our focus by coming together at events like the International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE) to share with and learn from others in our own and related fields. However, lack of adequate funding often constrains how fully students can take advantage of such opportunities.
