Defending the Gantt Chart

While it's true that actual project milestones don't always happen exactly when they've been scheduled on [Henry Gantt] charts, the argument that the charts are therefore useless is shortsighted. After all, the chart itself is not responsible for driving the project schedule-it's just a window into a series of tasks, dependencies and deadlines created by the project manager.
