Interest in glider training is growing at this time and, contrary to the boom of 1929 and 1930, equipment is available to meet that need. There are four major glider training schools: Briegleb in the Los Angeles area, Elmira at Harris Hill, NY, Frankfort-Lewis at Lockport, IL and the Motorless Flight Institute at Chicago Gliderport.
